Bespoke fitted wedding rings

As a bespoke working jewellers, fitted wedding rings are one of our specialisms. We create each fitted wedding ring specially for you, to ensure a perfect fit.

Fitted wedding rings are becoming increasingly popular here at Form Bespoke Jewellers. This is because they always sit beautifully against your engagement ring, no matter what it’s profile. Just like a jigsaw piece! There are two ways to create a bespoke fitted wedding ring. These will be discussed with you by our expert Yorkshire jewellers.

1. PEWTER MODEL

Step 1: meeting with your jeweller

During your first visit to our Yorkshire studio, we will go through the different options of styles, widths and depths for your bespoke wedding band. You can also decide if you would like us to set any diamonds into your ring. How many? And what size and quality?

Throughout every meeting with us, you will consult with the actual jeweller who will be creating your wedding ring. This helps to limit the chance of any information being lost in translation and also enables us to really get to grips with your unique requirements. Then, once you have decided on your perfect, bespoke fitted wedding ring, it is for us to work out a final quote for you which we will send to you for approval. If you are happy, then we get to work on your ring’s creation!

Step 2: We need to borrow your engagement ring

But not for long! We would only need your engagement ring here with us for a couple of days, ruling out any risk of loss. 99% of other jewellery stores will post your ring away to a workshop for several weeks. Here at Form Bespoke Jewellers, your engagement ring will never leave our premises.

We just need to make a model around it’s profile. This is created in pewter and hand-shaped by one of our expert Yorkshire jewellers.

Step 3: Trying on your pewter model

When you come to collect your engagement ring from us, you will be able to try on this pewter prototype of your fitted wedding ring. It is at this point that we can make sure it looks exactly as we’ve discussed. If required, we can still make some alterations to the model. Also, this process allows you to get a real feel for your wedding ring.

step 4: CASTING your fitted wedding ring

Your pewter model then goes to our reputable casters, where it will be cast into your chosen precious metal. This could be platinum, palladium, 9ct or 18ct gold, or Fairtrade Gold, according to your design.

It is then returned to us and we ask for your engagement ring back for the last time. This is simply to confirm that your wedding ring and engagement ring fit perfectly together.

Then, our expert jewellers will hand-set any diamonds or coloured precious stones, finish and beautifully polish your ring ready for your collection.

Step 5: Collection

It’s time! It’s just for you to pop back to collect your rings from us. All finished, bespoke and sparkling! We know you’ll love wearing them forever.

STep 3: Seeing your model

When you come to collect your engagement ring from us, you will be able to view the CAD rendered images of your fitted wedding ring. These are 3D virtual images of what your ring will look like once it is cast in its precious metal. We can also email these to you, if that is easier.
